About the event
The Uniting Communities Powwow is a celebration of culture, connection, and community. Founded on the belief that strength grows through unity, this event brings together people of all backgrounds to honor Native traditions, share stories, and build bridges across generations and cultures.
Through the heartbeat of the drum, the rhythm of dance, and the sharing of song, we celebrate the resilience and beauty of Indigenous peoples while creating space for learning, respect, and friendship. Our goal is to strengthen relationships between Native and non-Native communities, encouraging cultural understanding and mutual support.
The powwow is open to everyone—elders, youth, families, and allies alike. Whether you come to dance, sing, sell handmade crafts, or simply listen and learn, you are part of the circle. Together, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and build a future rooted in unity and respect.
